Meeting Asia Holiday Travel office in Bangkok on Khao san Road Thailand at 6:00 Pm. Welcome to Thailand by saying Sa wa dee krab/Ka, and then our tour guide will introduce the details of the trip, giving suggestions on what else you should prepare and bring with, and have welcome drinks, also open Q&A before you go to departure Bangkok next following evening at 4:00 Pm from Asia Holiday Travel office.

Day1: Bangkok to Chiang Mai by sleeper train

This evening it’s going to be your other experience by traveling with a public overnight sleeper train heading to Chaing Mai.

Day2: Arrival Chiang Mai and Half day tour

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai the early morning by sleeper train from Bangkok, and then you will have time to refresh or explore Chaing Mai

Chiang Mai is a city in northern Thailand, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and beautiful landscapes. It is the largest city in northern Thailand and the second most visited city in the country after Bangkok. Chiang Mai is surrounded by mountains and lush forests.

Today you will have an easy half day to do some orientation tours especially you will visit Wat Chedi Luang is a Buddhist temple located in the historic center of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The temple dates back to the 14th century when it was built to house the Emerald Buddha, which is now located in Bangkok. The temple was originally 80 meters high and was one of the tallest structures in northern Thailand. However, the top of the chedi was destroyed by an earthquake in the 16th century, leaving it at its current height of 60 meters, and then visit Wat Suandok is a Buddhist temple located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is one of the most important temples in the city and is known for its beautiful architecture and historical significance. The temple was founded in the late 14 century by King Saenmuangma, and was originally built as a place of worship for the Mon people who had migrated from Burma to Chiang Mai, finally you will hop on the local Red Taxi heading up to the Doi Suthep temple is known for its stunning architecture and beautiful views of Chiang Mai and the surrounding countryside. The chedi is covered in gold and is one of the most impressive structures in the temple complex. Visitors can also see a number of beautiful murals and statues of the Buddha, and can participate in traditional Buddhist ceremonies and rituals, this day trip will finish after lunch and the rest of the day you can chill, and get ready for the next day Elephants Home Sanctuary.

 

 

Day3: Chaing Mai-Full day Elephants Home Sanctuary

At 8:00am you will be heading to Elephants Home Sanctuary is an ethical and sustainable Eco-tourism project about Elephants care, you will have the best experience ever as you will play with baby elephants, bathing elephants, feeding and cuddle elephants, and you will learn a lot of about elephants, this is could be the highlight your trip in Thailand (No ridding, no using hook) starts at 8:00pm-4:30pm.

In this evening time you will explore the night market, and test real northern Thai local street foods it’s one of the most popular nightlights in Chaing Mai.

 

This day you will also learn about Thai cooking class with very specialties of Thai cuisine (Complimentary)

Day4: Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon (Full day tour)

Leaving the hotel after breakfast drive to the highest peak of Thailand inside Doi Inthanon National Park, it will take approximately 2 hours.

Enjoy the outstanding view at the summit and walk in the nature trail to see many kinds of birds, historical sightseeing and flowers admiring. Go to visit the beautiful architecture of Nopamaytanidol Chedi and Phra Mahatat Nopaphon Bhumisiri which build to honor the 60th birthday of King Bhumipol and Queen Sirikit.
Then visit Hmong hilltribe’s market. After having lunch walk for 2 hours through the jungle following a narrow mountain trail that leads us to a stunning hidden waterfall in the middle of the lush jungle.
Along the way before reaching the Pagagayaw karen hill tribe village, we will pass through the farmland where you will see the coffee plantation, flowers farm, and beautiful rice terraces. (The possibility to see is around July – the middle of November). Taste a cup of locally ground coffee at the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village, and then visit Wachirathern waterfall (a 70-meter-high thunderous waterfall).  
Finally, you will return to Chaing Mai before getting dark.

Day5: Chiang Mai -Chiang Rai-Houy Xai Laos

Leaving at 9:00 am from Chiang Mai to head to the Thailand-Lao border approximately 6 hours drive. On the way we will make a stop at Wat Rong Khoun known as White Temple it is a unique modern Buddhist temple that features some curious statues to represent the re-connection life of Buddhism, and then you will take some snacks before carrying on to a small town called HOUYXAI, our stop for overnight.

 

Day6: Houy Xai-Park Beng

After breakfast, you will board on our private boat down to Mekong River, this day you will enjoy on the cruise with beautiful Mekong valley and incredible scenery lush of farmlands, mountains and you will see kids swimming, and splashing on the Mekong River, water buffaloes, and cliffs as known as Mekong River is the longest River run through 6 countries in Southeast Asia from the mount of Himalaya to China sea more than 4800km, and it’s second floating fast River after Amazon, along the we will stop some of the tribal villages before will be arriving in Pakbeng.

(Lunch, coffee, and tea will be served on board)

 

Pakbeng is a small town located in the northern part of Laos, along the Mekong River. It is a popular stopover point for travelers who are taking a two-day slow boat journey from the Thai border town of Huay Xai to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Luang Prabang. Pakbeng has a few basic amenities for tourists, including guesthouses, restaurants, and small shops. It is also known for its beautiful sunsets over the Mekong River.

 

 

 

Day7: Park Beng –Luang Prabang

After you got up fresh early morning and grab a simple breakfast, hot coffee or tea before you go back on board to Luang Prabang it will take around 5 hours. On the way we will make a stop at the Buddha cave called (ThamThing Cave) there is one of the highlights, and a good photo spot finally arrive in Laung Prabang late evening.

After breakfast, you’ll visit the oldest Buddhist temple in Luang Prabang, Wat Xieng Thong (known as a golden temple), before traveling through the rural countryside to a waterfall nestled in the jungle, the iconic Kuang SiWaterfall. Its turquoise blue pools are perfect for swimming and plenty of photo ops, and there’s also, the chance to visit to the Free the Bears Rescue Centre at the entrance to the falls. You will spend your relaxing day at the waterfall by swimming at the nature pool till late afternoon you will return to LuangPrabang for catching up on the sunset over Phuosi Mountain.
