Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Luang Prabang to Nong Khiaw
Leave from Luang Prabang for 4 hours trip by private minibus to Nong Khiaw. Along the way you will stop at the silk weaving village of Ban Na Ngang known as Indigo village and spending about 30 minutes before heading on to Nong Khiaw, arriving around lunch time. After checking in your accommodation, you will head up to the scenic view point called Phou Pha Daeng, one of the highlights for this trip.
Day 2 - Half trekking and half day kayaking
Start the morning off with a good breakfast in anticipation of a day for trekking and kayaking. Your trek will take you through open countryside, farmlands, and rice fields where you’ll have an opportunity to interact with members of the local community hard at work. Trekking will last about 3 hours, including a visit to a cave on the way before connecting with Nam Ou River, after rest your legs on the beach. We get on paddle boat to kayaking down by Ou river to see sceneries from both sides of river bank included local fisherman on the way back to Nong Khiaw.
Day 3 - Return from Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang
Last fresh morning day for Nong Khiaw, we get back on our minivan after great breakfast to return to Luang Prabang and on the way back we will stop for snack and buy some drink or take pictures.
