Day1: Arrival day

Welcome to Thailand
Chiang Mai is a major city in northern Thailand, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and beautiful landscapes. It is the largest city in northern Thailand and the second most visited city in the country after Bangkok. The city is surrounded by mountains and lush forests.

Day2

Elephant Home
Elephant Home

Elephant Home Experience
At 8:00 AM, you will head to the Elephant Home Sanctuary, an ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project focused on elephant care. You will have an unforgettable experience: playing with baby elephants, bathing them, feeding them, and giving them plenty of cuddles. You will also learn a lot about elephant behavior and conservation. This could be the highlight of your trip to Thailand. (No riding and no hooks are used.)
The program runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

In the evening, you will explore the night market and taste authentic northern Thai street food, one of the most popular nightlife activities in Chiang Mai.

Day3

Luang Prabang
Luang Prabang

Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang
Enjoy a relaxed morning and spend some time exploring Chiang Mai before heading to the airport around noon for your flight to Luang Prabang. The flight takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

If the weather is good this evening, you will have the chance to take a Mekong River sunset cruise before dinner. The sunset cruise is one of the highlights of Luang Prabang.

Day4

Kuang Si Waterfalls

City Tour exploration and Kuang Si Waterfalls

 After breakfast, you will visit the oldest Buddhist temple in Luang Prabang, Wat Xieng Thong, also known as the Golden Temple. Then you’ll travel through the rural countryside to the iconic Kuang Si Waterfall, nestled deep in the jungle. Its turquoise-blue pools are perfect for swimming and offer many great photo opportunities.
At the entrance to the falls, you also have the chance to visit the Free the Bears Rescue Centre.

You will spend a relaxing day at the waterfall, swimming in the natural pools. In the late afternoon, you will return to Luang Prabang to catch the sunset over Phousi Mountain before taking the evening train to Vang Vieng.

Day5

Oudomxay

Laung Prabang to Oudomxay
You will leave Luang Prabang on the China–Laos high-speed train to Oudomxay (approximately 45 minutes). And then transfer to  Namkat Yorla Pa Resort, a beautiful rainforest resort with many outdoor activities. This afternoon you will be hiking to the viewpoint for a 360-degree panoramic view of the area.

Day6

Kunming
Kunming

Laos–China (Travel Day)
Wake up  fresh morning and prepare to head to the international train station for your journey to Kunming, China. The trip takes approximately 6 hours, including the immigration process between Laos and China.
After arriving at Kunming South Station, you will take a bus to the ancient town area of Kunming for sightseeing and dinner before heading to your hotel.

Kunming – Shaxi

Kunming – Shaxi
After breakfast, you will depart by private bus for Shaxi, one of the most beautiful and historic ancient towns in Yunnan. You are expected to arrive in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel before heading out to explore the old town.

Exploring Shaxi

On Exploring Shaxi
After breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring Shaxi, an ancient town with more than 2,500 years of history. Once an important stop on the Tea Horse Road, Shaxi is known as the “living lowland” of southwest China, preserving a rich cultural heritage.
With its long history, unique Bai ethnic customs, and beautiful rural scenery, Shaxi has been recognized as a Famous Historical and Cultural Town of China and awarded the national 4A-level tourist attraction status. It is also listed among the 101 World Architectural Heritage Sites published by the World Memorial Architecture Foundation.

In the evening, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before your journey back to Kunming the following day.

Day9

Kunming
Kunming

Shaxi to Kunming
After breakfast, you will depart from Shaxi and travel toward Kunming. Along the way, you will stop to visit Dali, one of the most historic towns in Yunnan.
Dali is rich in culture and beautifully located between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The town offers many sightseeing spots, including ancient city gates, old towers, traditional streets, temples, churches, and museums. Today, you will explore the main highlights of the city before ending your visit at the walking street.
Afterward, you will drive approximately 4 hours back to Kunming.

Day10

Vietnam
Vietnam

China – Vietnam (Travel Day)
Depart early in the morning to take the train to Hekou, located on the China–Vietnam border. After crossing the border, you will continue your journey to Sapa, the land of a thousand rice terraces.
Tonight, you will stay at a Sapa farm stay and enjoy a homemade local dinner.

Day11

Trekking in Sapa
After breakfast, you will begin a classic trek through local farmland and bamboo forests. Today you will experience and learn about the lifestyle of Vietnamese farmers while enjoying the beautiful mountain landscapes along the way.
After the trek, you will return to the farm stay, where you will take part in an evening cooking activity, learning how to prepare Vietnamese dishes, followed by a BBQ dinner.

Day12

Hanoi

Sapa – Hanoi

Depart from Sapa for Hanoi, a drive of approximately 4 hours. Before exploring Hanoi—known as the capital of Vietnam—you will stop at a local restaurant to try phở (noodle soup), one of Vietnam’s most famous traditional dishes.
After lunch, you will visit some of Hanoi’s key highlights, including the former prison used during the French Indochina period, and the famous Train Street, before checking in to your hotel.

Day13

Bangkok
Bangkok

Hanoi – Bangkok (Travel Day)
Depart early in the morning for Noi Bai International Airport to board your flight to Bangkok (approximately 1 hour 55 minutes, 09:15–11:10).
Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will transfer to Koh Larn Island, with an expected arrival in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the island.

Full Day Snorkeling and Beach
Koh Larn Island, located just off the coast of Pattaya in Thailand, is renowned for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. Often referred to as Coral Island, Koh Larn is a tropical paradise that attracts visitors seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. With powdery white-sand beaches such as Tawaen, Nual, and Sangwan, the island offers the perfect setting for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling.

Today will be a beautiful and memorable day before leaving Southeast Asia. After breakfast, you will begin your full-day snorkeling trip and visit some of the island’s most beautiful white-sand beaches. The day trip will finish before sunset.

Day15

Free Day

Today is a relaxing, easy day before leaving the island. If you’re not yet tired of the warm weather, we recommend visiting Tawaen Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Larn, as well as the Khao Nom Viewpoint.

Koh Larn to Bangkok
